About Us Hershey Kidney Specialists, Inc. is a private kidney medicine (nephrology) practice with offices in Harrisburg, Carlisle, Palmyra, and Camp Hill. The practice comprises three physicians, all board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. They have all received their nephrology training at premiere academic medical centers. (See "Meet our Providers" pages.) Each of the three nephrologists is dedicated to the highest quality practice coupled with the caring and compassion required by patients with chronic disease. Our practice specializes in diseases of the kidney, hypertension and transplantation. Some of the key problems that we specialize in include (but are not limited to) Diabetic Nephropathy, Hypertension or high blood pressure, Polycystic Kidney Disease, Renal Failure and End-Stage Renal Disease. Many of our patients require dialysis, either hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. In an effort to best serve the needs of our patients, we service several dialysis centers in South Central Pennsylvania. Dr. Diamond is the UNOS Medical Director for Kidney Transplantation for the Pinnacle Health System at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Nutritional counseling in regards to renal diet is also offered by a registered dietitian to our patients. Hershey Kidney Specialists work along with your regular physicians in an effort to provide you with the best and most complete care possible. We provide a summary to your physician after each visit to our office and coordinate your lab work and any specialized testing you may require. We offer longitudinal care that includes out-patient and in-patient management, dialysis, and kidney transplantation. Where We Practice: Hershey Kidney Specialists service patients at the following Central Pennsylvania hospitals: Harrisburg Hospital, Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Holy Spirit Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, and Health South Rehabilitation. We provide dialysis care to patients at the following dialysis centers in Central Pennsylvania: Fresenius Dialysis Services in Carlisle, Palmyra, Linglestown, and Camp Hill; as well as BMA Harrisburg.
